black pages on edit

    When I try to edit my free WordPress site (gropperpress.wordpress.com) on the edit page the content shows up fine, but is black when I scroll down. Can’t really edit ‘below the fold.’

    Are you using Safari, and if so, which version?

    There’s a bug in the block editor specific to Safari that sounds like what you describe. It has already been fixed, but at the moment we’re waiting for the new version of the editor that contains the fix to be released over on WordPress.org where the editor is made. Once it’s released and we can install it on WordPress.com, it will be fixed over here as well, but for now you might need to use a different browser.
