  Hello, I’m currently using Canard Theme and want to have it displayed with like the example with 5 featured posts. I only have one post so far but the image is black and I’m not sure why, thanks!

  I think once you start building up more posts (at least 5 in this case), the format of your homepage should change to look like what’s shown in the demo. If it doesn’t, you can post back here and I’ll be happy to help you out :)

  So after inspecting the type of image you are using, it looks the image is a PNG type. PNGs have transparent backgrounds and it’s common that they’ll get displayed in black like the way you’re describing.

  I would recommend using JPEG instead. You can try saving the image as a JPEG in any image editor, upload it again, and that should display the colors properly.
