Black theme – only 10 portfolio thumbnails on front page?

Hi, I hope someone can help me:
I would like my frontpage to contain 22 thumbnails visible at once. Is that possible with the Blask theme? Or should I go with another?
I chose the portfolio but maybe blog is better for this case?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks for your message, Timethief. I have been at the blask-instructions before I posted this question and also installed the theme. On my homepage I can see that only the 10 newest thumbnails are shown on the frontpage, so I thought maybe someone knows how to get them all visible – or know of a theme that lets me display 22 projects at once?

Hi there – please head to My Sites > Settings > Writing.
Turn on the Portfolios toggle switch and change the number in the field provided:

Just to add – displaying all 22 might increase the load time, particularly on mobile devices.
Images on the home page are already a combined total of 10.5MB.
You could try optimizing them to reduce that:

I’m aware of the thing of the large images – but I wanted to see if I could make the theme work first. Next thing will be working with new images. Thanks for the link @garysixtyeight!! -
