BlackBerry PlayBook app update?

  The WordPress app for BlackBerry PlayBook works well except for the photo and video browser. I realize that this is an Android ported app, so the browser is likely meant for an Android device. Any possibility of improving the photo / video browser for the Playbook? Often the videos and sometimes the photos are not visible or selectable from the WP browser.
