Blacklisting

  Is there a way to “blacklist” specific WordPress accounts from my blog? There is nothing happening that is against any Terms-of-Service, but I get many “followers” and “likes” from annoying individual accounts who I would like to hide my blog from, while still allowing it to be generally accessible. If this facility does not exits, could it be added please.

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately there is not currently a way to blacklist certain accounts. We are working on ways to increase the protection against what is called splikes and spfollows (spam likes and spam followers), however this is a constantly shifting arena.

  The good news is that these follows and likes don’t actually adversely affect you in any way as long as you don’t interact with them. In many ways they can help your site. They just can be annoying!
