Blank Canvas: Regarding showing "Previous" and "Next" buttons

Is there a method to enable the “Previous” and “Next” buttons below blog pages on a site running under theme “Blank Canvas” ? I am unable to find anything related to it under “Settings” on wp-admin.

Blank Canvas is a minimalist theme, designed for single-page websites. Its single post and page layouts have no header, navigation menus, or widgets by default, so the page you design in the WordPress editor is the same page you’ll see on the front end. Since “previous” and “next” post navigation doesn’t exist to be added in the post editor, that’s why you don’t see the option in this theme.
There are a number of other minimalist themes here that might work that would include the page navigation you’re looking for. Twenty Twenty One might be the closest to what you were going for with Blank Canvas, so you should give that a try!
