Blank featured image

  Hello! I have this problem for like 5 days. What’s it about? So, when I go on wordpress.com to check my posts there, my featured image on the last two posts is blank, there’s the sign that tells me there’s not any image there. When I go on my website, on the blog page, everything’s alright and I can clearly see the featured images. If people check through wordpress.com, they won’t see any photo, and it’s annoying. Any help would be so much appreciated.

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help from the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

  Fine, my site adress is mereumaibun.ro. When I search my site as a reader on wordpress.com I can find it, but the article’s photos don’t show up, even though they do on the site.

  Hi @cristibtz, I suspect it’s the same thing that’s stopping your images from appearing on Facebook debug or Twitter Card Validator.

  I can’t tell without looking at your server and plugins, unfortunately :(

  Here’s what I did find:

  – Direct requests are not being blocked

  – Your og:image tags _are_ there as specified but Facebook does not recognize them

  – I suspect you’re using a plugin to generate those, and there’s something conflicting or broken there, so you might try temporarily disabling plugins or switching to a default theme

  Facebook has the best troubleshooting tools in this case, in my opinion, so can I recommend trying those troubleshooting options while testing there?

  Once you get image previews working in their debugger, update us here and we can refresh your feed from our end if necessary.

  I’d try Facebook troubleshooting tools, bu I don’t have an account. So I’ll stick to deactivating/activating plugins, change themes etc. Thanks for help!
