blank header white space

  There is a blank header I want to delete on my home page. I want to keep the first image header however. Can’t figure it out!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello Betina, The white space is a place holder for a slide show. If you choose not to populate it with images, please do the following:

  1. Click Appearance → Theme Options.
  2. Deselect “Yes! I’d like to enable the optional home page slideshow.”
  3. Click the Save Options button.

  I do have another question: I have been trying to ad a slide show to the blank space, but can’t seem to figure that out either. Help!

  I have had all of that already, but it still remains blank. Is it because the previous files aren’t large enough? I had a slide show with the same theme up until a couple of days ago. Something happened when I added the header. This is so frustrating.

  Your theme requires that the images need to be at least 950 pixels by 425 pixels for the slideshow to work. If possible, please try to use larger images in your posts.

  I appreciate your help, except I have plenty of images that are already quite large. Why aren’t they in the slide show? Do I have to delete images and then reload them? (In other words, the slide show won’t work with previously loaded images?) Thank you.

  Also, it is only letting 4 images be on the slide show. I have looked in the reader on the dashboard, and haven’t seen a place to adjust how many images can go on the slide show.

  I’m glad you got the slideshow working now. It should display all post images that are large enough to display. Feel free to publish new posts with images or attach existing images to posts at https://betinafink.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php
