  Hi,
  I am new to this. I deleted a page and now “Home” tab is empty and looks bad.
  Any ideas how I can fix this? I am ok with the other pages.

  That is because you have deleted the “hello world” post and have no other posts. There is nothing for wordpress to show. Create a post.
