Hi there
Two of these so far today that i have seen, likely there are more out there…
I notice there was a Jetpack update that was rolled out yesterday.Your blog here at WordPress.com pops right up, though the only post is dated January 20, 2014…
You might put in a support ticket at Jetpack, and see if your hosting provider can restore your site, or at least the relevant files with recently archived version(s).
good luck

Hello I also got fatal error today after updating! So frustrating :(
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/lizbanasihan/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/_inc/lib/class.media.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’)

Hello everyone,
Sorry for hear you’re having problems. Jetpack included more language files in the recent update to translate it into more languages, and that means that the plugin is now bigger. Unfortunately, that also means that on some hosting plans, the update won’t complete if the server isn’t able to copy that many files.
To make sure you have a full installation of Jetpack on your server, could you try to log in to your site via FTP or CPanel, delete the existing Jetpack plugin folder, and reinstall the plugin manually as explained here:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Manual_Plugin_Installation
You’ll find the Jetpack plugin folder here:
wp-content plugins jetpack - DELETE THIS FOLDERIf you’re not sure how to do this, you can ask your hosting company for help. They should also have documentation explaining how to edit or remove files from your site using FTP or a File Manager in your admin panel.
Let me know how it goes.

So if you cannot login to your dashboard but can login to your cPanel,
Rename your plugins directory (and create a new one) so WordPress cannot access your plugins. This lets you log in to your WordPress account again to troubleshoot your site. After you’ve resolved the issues, you can delete the new directory and rename the old directory so WordPress can access your plugins again. -

Sadly, I too am having problems following the update and get a blank screen on my blog. When I logged on to wordpress.com and click on settings, I get a “there was an error retrieving your site settings/Make sure your Jetpack is up to date”. I click on the link there and am taken to a blank page.
Similarly, if I click on “plug ins” I get an “error fetching plug in on (my blog site)”.
I use GoDaddy for the WordPress site but can’t seem to access the wordpress material unless I’m on wordpress.com.
Help!
