Blank images, empty alt attributes
-
Hi guys, I know this question has been answered before but I’m extremely new to the site – like two days new and am super confused.
My site was working great when I was on the free plan – the minute I upgraded, images I was uploading (all images, including ones I’ve added before so should be fine) are blank and saying there is empty alt attributes. I have tried editing it by code and putting an alt description but then the description shows, but the image doesn’t.
I don’t have any plugins other than jetpack which is auto assigned, I have disabled my theme etc and I still can’t figure it out.
I’m not the most computer literate so I may just be being silly, but I would really appreciate any and all advice as it’s very disheartening to not be able to publish anything after forking out the money 😅

Hello,
You can add image alt text on the image’s meta box.
Use the Image block to insert an image onto your page or post. This guide describes how to insert an image and use all the available settings to control how the image appears. Video Tutorial Add the Image Block To add the Image block, click the + Block Inserter icon and search for “image”. Click it to add the block to the post or page. Inserting an Image block using the + BlockAnother way is to add image alt through the media library. https://wordpress.com/media/roisetravels.blog/

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
