Blank inaccessible website

  I received an update notice three days ago, and just went to update my site, and it is blank. Not a 404 notice, just white screen of death. I admit I have neglected the site, and it has sometimes self-updated in the past. I have not changed the theme; my site has always worked in the past; I cannot access any part of the back end – or the front end. I was hoping to give it a little TLC – is there any way to get in there and fix things? Thank you very very much in advance. (Notice I received is below.)
