Blank page (cont.)
-
I just tried the instructions your AI gave me. I inserted ” as it suggested, and I typed sample copy and hit preview. The sample copy showed up not on a blank page, as was predicted. It showed up in the middle of a Mission News page, which I am trying to avoid. I need to work on a blank screen.
The way you guys switch from human to AI support is infuriating.
I think I am using the Classic editor, which I prefer, because it’s easier for my brain to follow. Can I create blank HTML pages, without my Mission News theme showing up, using this editor? This message needs a human response.

This doesn’t work:
Go to your WordPress.com dashboard and navigate to the Pages section.
Click on Add New to create a new page.
In the editor, click on the Text tab at the top to switch to the HTML editor.
Delete any existing content in the HTML editor.
Type or paste the following code:
This code will create a page break, ensuring that any content written after it will appear on the next page when you view the page or post.
Click on the Visual tab to switch back to the visual editor.
You should now see a blank page where you can start working without any content from your Mission News page.
