Blank screen when using links

  Hi all,

  for past couple of days, hitting some of the links in my reader as well in the Daily Post’s photo challenge just bring up an empty screen (mostly brown, sometimes white). Are you aware of any such problems? Does this happen to me only or to other people too?

  Can you please try clearing out your browser’s cache?

  Thanks for the super fast response! Firefox is set to clearing the cache automatically. I switched that off and tried clearing the cache manually – which worked. But I still get a dark blank window.

  Among other sites, the problem appears here:

  but not here:

  which is strange, isn’t it?

  Can you replicate the issue in another browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari)?

  Once I get some feedback, we can take the next troubleshooting step in resolving your issue.

  Hi,

  I can’t open your links in Firefox either.

  Everything seems fine when I use Safari.

  So do you thing it’s a browser issue?

  Probably.

  See what happens when you run Firefox in Safe Mode:

  Awesome!

  It may relate to an add-on you have installed.

  Try re-enabling them, one by one, to determine who the culprit may be.

  It’s Ghostery. Which is kind of annoying since I have it up and running for a reason. But not your problem. Thanks for the help!
