Blank spaces in blog after inserting media.
-
I get unexpected areas of blank space on my blog. It happens in Safari and Chrome in OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). sometimes it self-corrects. Other times I can’t seem to fix it. Please help!

I’m not seeing the problem there. Would you please give us a link to a post or page which shows the problem?

Here is the most recent example:

Two comments were posted on this Post, and now the spacing all runs together into the next one. What is wrong here?
-
Well, the good news is that it’s definitely not you. The video seems to be messing with it quite a bit.
I made some changes which improved the spacing, but really all it did was magically float the video into the middle of the post, despite it still being at the bottom.
We’re looking into this.

I screwed around with one of the pictures, deleted and reposted the video link, and now it covers up the comments.
This is very disappointing since I just paid $60 for the video upgrade, and it works worse than a YouTube clip.

Is there any way we can talk on the phone to work through this and a host of related questions? It will take approximately three years via this posting to forum method.

Ok, you’re all fixed up now.
You had the images all aligned to the left, which they didn’t need to be since they filled the whole column anyway. Setting them to no alignment resolved the issue.
Now, this is still a problem on our end, as aligning the images to the left should obviously have no effect on placement of the video. So, we’re of course still looking into that, but your blog is fine now.
If that ever happens again before we are able to resolve the issue on our end, just make sure that you set your image alignment to None when inserting it.

Thanks. Good to know how to do it.
New question: is there anyway to set a default for images I put in my blog? Right now I have to upload them, inset into blog, then edit each photo 1-by-1, go to Advanced tab, set border = 2 and click “Open in New Window”. There must be a better way.
