Blank URL when posting comment
-
When we comment on someone’s post, usually there will be displayed our avatar and link to our own blog (which is automatically generated if we logged on to wordpress.com).
But there is something wrong, every time I commented, the avatar showed properly, but the link to my page is always empty, it’s always like this : “http:/.”. Is there something wrong with my settings? I think I didn’t change anything about domains or something that might connected with this URL….can somebody help me? Just for in case, this is my page : http://renxe.wordpress.com -
I am not 100% sure, but I think it may be that theme. Since you’re the admin, it may decide not to bother linking to your blog, since you’re ON your blog. What happens when you comment somewhere else?

That’s also happened when I comment on other blog.
For example you can check my comment here :
http://redesya.wordpress.com/2008/12/05/pendidikan-dan-kemiskinan/#comment-1191the other comments have their name linked back to their blog, but not mine…

@renxe
Did you recently update the Website in Your Profile? Those comments didn’t have a URL set on them. -
I have the very same problem! Everyone’s name links to their blog but mine is just blank!
-
Same problem.
I replied from the new WP2.7 comments section.
My URL shows up in the post as http:// -
BTW, if you comment on places like Blogger or other blog sites, then your need to manually input your username, or use OpenID → http://support.wordpress.com/openid/

Sorry, this does not help me.
I’m using my own WordPress install (WP 2.7), not wordpress.com -
