  My website has gone blank. But the files are still there. What do I do?

  @sfcommuter I see an older site at sfcommuter.wordpress.com; is that the one you’re referring to?

  Also, please note these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com, vs using the free WordPress software with another host. If you’re not sure about your site, send a link and we can point you in the right direction.

  Ah okay, that’s definitely with another hosting provider, rather than our managed hosting service. I see a 500 error when visiting the site.

  Based on what I can tell, your hosting provider is Hostgator, and you can reach their support at https://www.hostgator.com/help
