Blank White Space and Page Titles Showing
-
Hoping someone could please help with this problem. I’m having an issue on the Seedlet theme with any page that is not set as my static homepage.
A white space or box is showing on top of the page and i am unable to remove it. It’s also showing the page titles publicly, which i do not want.
There is no editor tab under the appearance section on this theme.
Any input or feedback is beyond appreciated! Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi there,
The Seedlet theme is one that was launched before we had full Site Editing capabilities on WordPress.com. Because of this it is not possible to use the Site Editor to modify the page templates directly (to remove the appearance of the page title on pages, for example) but you do have a few options to proceed:
Option 1 – Customize the theme with CSS code. This will allow you to override the default styles of the theme to remove titles, spacing, change colors, etc. It’s basically the code-based version of the site editor, but would allow you to make these changes while sticking with your current theme.
Option 2 – Switch to a “Block Theme” instead. This will allow you to access the site editor and make direct changes to templates without the need to code. To do this you need to use a specific theme (one build with this kind of editing in mind) and you can find a full list here: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/full-site-editing
You can see some of the power that is unlocked by switching to a block theme by watching our webinar on the Site Editor. You can sign up to attend a live session next week! https://wordpress.com/learn/webinars/site-editor-vs-page-editor/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
