Blask by Automattic: how to manage/edit portfolio's "project types"?

Inside the Blask theme (by Automattic), how do I manage or edit the portfolio’s “project types”?

Hi,
You may add a project type to a portfolio project in the My Site(s) interface at project editor > Settings > Project Type, by adding a check into the box of previously created type, then updating. A project type may be removed from a project by unchecking the corresponding box, then updating. New projects may be adding by clicking clicking the “Add New Project Type” icon, which opens a module that contains a field to add a new type into.
However, I was unable to discover if it was possible to delete previously created project types via My Site(s). For this I used WP Admin. At the WP Admin Project Types page, yours would be https://gallofeg.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=jetpack-portfolio-type&post_type=jetpack-portfolio, you may add, edit, and delete portfolio project types, as well as add descriptions and create hierarchies among project types.

RThank you so much! It worked! Awesome! The problem now, is that the project types are missing on my pages… they should appear on the right upper corner of the post, like “Posted in ‘projecttype'”, but it’s missing… I’ll find out what to do, thanks!!!!

Yes, I see what you mean on the Blask demo, but the demo might have been customized, because on my test site I’m getting the same result that you did, no project type link on the projects. I don’t find anywhere to enable that feature, so I’m guessing that it might have been added with custom CSS.
You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at the right here to call for staff attention.

I’m going to ask staff about this, because it’s such an integral part of the Blask demo that it seems odd that there wouldn’t be an easy way to enable that feature.

Hi there, Can you try something on one of your portfolio projects? Add a paragraph of text above the first image in the project. All of the projects in the Demo site have text as the first thing in the content.

Hi there. I was hoping you were right, but adding a paragraph or two of text made no difference on my test site. Also, inserting a paragraph or two and an image didn’t do the trick either.

@musicdoc1, I’ll look into this tomorrow and get a developer involved if necessary to figure out why it’s appearing on the demo, but not on user’s sites.
