Blask theme – hover text needs to be default on mobile

I am using Blask theme and showing the Portfolio as my home page which looks great on a desktop – you hover over an image and the page title appears. However, on a mobile device the portfolio pages just show an image, you have to click on each image before you see the page title.

Is there any way of making the titles appear permanently on the images when a user is on a mobile device? I cannot add CSS as I’m on the personal plan, the website I’m working on is not going to make any money.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, it seems that the Blask theme doesn’t have an option to change the way the portfolio projects appear on mobiles, and the only way the project title can change its appearance is via custom CSS code.

If you wouldn’t like to upgrade your plan, perhaps you can find some other, similar theme, which will display portfolio projects differently.
In the theme search, when you type “portfolio”, please choose the “Portfolio: Themes that support WordPress’ portfolio post type …” or “Portfolio: Displays portfolio projects that showcase creative work.” suggestions – this will make a search more precise and it will show themes with better portfolio support.

Please note that when a theme is switched, you’ll need to set up a project listing page (your homepage) template to a portfolio template again.

I hope this will help you.
    Have a great day!

Thank you for the information, I really appreciate it. I have changed the theme, I wasn’t sure how to check if the text appears by default on the mobile so I just picked one from the Portfolio results. Unfortunately the one I picked doesn’t show any of my images on mobile, but it does on the desktop.

I will persevere, thank you for you help again.
