Blask Theme Portfolio Archieve Page?

    Sorry for the confusion here.

Why would or should I create a “portfolio archive” entry in the menu (as the demo has done) when the home page of the theme showcases projects in grid form with links to “previous” and “next” as needed.

Isn’t the home page essentially a portfilio archive? This seems redundant.

    What am I missing here?

    Thanks for your input.

Some portfolio sites will have a homepage that isn’t a list of their projects, which is why we have instructions on how to set the portfolio archive in your menu.

If your homepage is showing all your portfolio items already – which it sounds like it is – you can totally skip that step.

    Thank you for responding.

So I would likely use a menu entry such as “Portfolio” linked to a page created using the portfolio template if I wasn’t already using my home page as the grid in which the projects appear. OK. And of course some folks choose to have something else on the home page and go this route instead.

    Otherwise it would be redundant.

    Thank you.
