Blask Theme Portfolio Projects not showing up on dashboard

I just started using the Blask theme. I have created and published projects, which are showing up if I go to my site via a browser. The problem is they do not show up in the dashboard (says no projects have been created), so I cannot access them to edit. My homepage is a static page with Portfolio Template applied. The projects/Featured images are showing up on the page but again, not in the Admin Dashboard. Any ideas?

    Hi,

On a test site with Blask applied, and several published projects, I encountered in some tests a “No Projects Found” message in the center of the page, accompanied by an “Add a new pro message” just below it. In some cases, two separate “Not Projects Found” messages display in quick sequence. However, in those cases where these messages display, after a second or two they disappear and the projects display.

I don’t know if the behavior I’ve described is related to the issue you’ve described, but in either case it’s a bit odd, so I’ll call for staff to respond to here. The messages may be produced due to either a delay in, or slow, loading of the projects.

  • Hm, please try deactivating all plugins except Jetpack and Gutenberg.

Do they show up in the Dashboard’s Portfolio section after that?

If so, reactivate each plugin one by one to find the one causing the problem.

I was able to access the projects by going directly to https://wordpress.com/types/jetpack-portfolio/dawnendean.com
Once I had done that and cleared my browser cache the projects started showing up in the dashboard. It still comes up as “No projects created” initially, but if I refresh the page there they are.
So it appears to be working now; thanks so much!

    Correction:
“Add a new pro message” should have read “Add a new project” message.

    Update:
I upgraded my graphics card last night after the testing that I reported on here. Installed a much faster GPU. So today, I’m still seeing the “No projects found” message accompanied by the “Add a new project” button, but it disappears more quickly, after a fraction of a second (on both the latest FF and Chrome) and then the projects display. This tends to confirm my suspicion that it’s a loading issue. I still have slow internet speed.

Same results after disabling plugins, but not extensions (Add-Ons), on FF.

I appreciate your time – looks like all is solved!
