Why isn’t my Blavatar showing up in my site? Also I have an Gravatar but instead it comes out as one of wordpress’s icons. Can you help me?

I changed my Gravatar also & the correct Gravatar
is showing up in the comment field but it’s not showing up
in the forum correctly or the wordpress.com home page correctly

When that happened to me (a few days ago) I was told to clear my cache and restart. It worked in my situation…..

Can you try reloading your Gravatar through the Dashboard?

In the forum, I see your 360 icon. But you see the default thingie. That was the same with me, people could see my icon, but i couldn’t. I know clearing cache worked for me. But maybe there’s a bigger problem going on?

when I changed mine, it took a while for it to change, so maybe you just have to be patience

actually, in my comments section from the dashboard, teck’s gravatar is just blank

I cannot see Teck’s icon. All I see is green geometry of sorts.

How weird, cuz I see his icon. I see everyone’s icon but siegetank55’s is a default.

it’s been about 2 hrs since I uploaded it
I seen a thread yesterday were they had some
bug issues with gravatar not fully implementing
the avatar through the forum section.

I wish I could remember what thread I seen that message in.

I retried your suggestion diamond, but it didn’t fix the issue

Teck, is there a way you can revert to your prior settings. I just left my avatar and it was automatically updated to a gravatar. I had previously set my blavatar…and it is just fine as well.

It took me 24 hours to see mine, although lots of other people could see it. I honestly thought the whole blavatar thing was an elaborate practical joke…but it showed up the next day and the BIG thing is, other people could see it much faster than I could.

I think like domain names, they take time to spread all over the world. It depends on the route your specific computer is taking to get to the image.
