Blavatar and Avatar Problems

I have 2 blogs under 1 account/1 email which is fine. I only want to use the same picture for both blogs to keep things simple. Under Settings, I was able to upload my blog picture and it shows on the URL address bar on my browser. When I go to My Account > Edit Profile, the default Gravatar [G] image is on there with the option to “Change Gravatar”. When I click the link to “Change Gravatar”, all I see is a progress bar and it’s been 5 minutes now but it doesn’t take me to where I can actually change my gravatar.
Three questions:
1. How come when I add a post, it doesn’t show my blog picture on the corner of my entry? It shows me this .png (box in the center with 4 tiny diamond shape within and some other pattern on each corner of the box) image. Is this because I didn’t change gravatar under “Edit Profile”?
2. How long should I wait to get to the screen so I can change my gravatar?
3. How come when I reply to a comment, it doesn’t show my blog picture? It shows this orange .png (box in the center with 4 tiny diamond shape within and some other pattern on each corner of the box) image? How can I make it so it shows my picture instead?
Hmmm… I wonder what would appear on this entry when I click Send Post…. :)

Aha! It shows that (box in the center with 4 tiny diamond shape within and some other pattern on each corner of the box) .png image! How can I replace it so it shows my picture instead? Thanks in advance for your support. :)

Update — It took a long wait but I was able to change my gravatar. Now, it’s just a matter of another waiting period to populate. I wonder if once populated if it will replace the old (box in the center with 4 tiny diamond shape within and some other pattern on each corner of the box) .png image with my gravatar. Do you know if once populated if all my posts, comments and blogs will have my gravatar? [Note: I used the same picture for my gravatar and blog picture.]

YEY!!!! It updated my comments and posts. Now, I see my picture. :) I guess I just had to tinker with it and with patience, it’s all good. :)

Avatars, blavatars, and gravatars propagate across the internet at different times. It will show up at different places at different times until it settles down. That’s perfectly normal and you don’t have to do anything.

I’m back… Sorry to be a pest but there’s a problem. Sending this post, shows me my gravatar but somehow, this same gravatar no longer shows on my blog posts like it did earlier and I’m using the same image for blog picture as well. Did I do something wrong? The only change was my blog updates. Earlier today, when I posted on this site for support, I was seeing that .png image (box in the center with 4 tiny diamond shape within and some other pattern on each corner of the box) then it was all good. Now, I can see my gravatar on my post here (Forum > Support) but not on my blog posts nor comments. What’s going on? Any ideas as to why gravatar went away on my posts and comments (replaced by the ol’ .png image box)?
