Blavatar Crop feature not working?

  I just tried to update my blavatar (favicon) and after I upload the image (tried .png and .jpeg) the page asks to crop the image. Either it’s not working or I’m really dumb because there seems to be no way of cropping the image. After just clicking ‘crop image’ the old blavatar shows in the preview.

  Is this happening to anyone else or am I missing something?

  If you upload at 128px square as mentioned here, http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/#upload-a-blavatar then it will not try and crop the image. The crop feature here on both gravatars and blavatars has been finicky for quite a while. Some have problems with it and some do not.

  Okay that clears things up a bit, it might be better if that add that info when you are cropping the image though. Thanks again!

  Yeah, that should be on that page somewhere really since the crop feature is so hit and miss.
