Blavatar doesn't show

  I uploaded a jpg for a blavatar, mainly to use it as a favicon. It doesn’t show. It does, on the settings page, but it doesn’t show on the favicon spot. I’ve tried to clear cache, but that’s not helping. What’s wrong?

  Hi René,

  This seems to be a peculiar issue and I’m not sure why browsers are showing the default “W” image instead of your blavatar.

  I’ve brought the issue to a developer and I’ll let you know what’s happening once they look at it.

  Hi René,

  I had a couple colleagues look at the issue and neither could immediately determine the cause. One of them scheduled some time to dive deeper into it, and once they did the issue seemed to be resolved.

  We’re now seeing your blavatar appear whenever viewed on browser with cleared cache and cookies:

  Our best determination is that a caching issue of some sort occuring on our media server that hosted your blavatar. With it having resolved, we’re not sure what we could test to find the root cause.

  If you see this happen again (after clearing browser cache and cookies) please let us know so we can investigate once more.
