Blavatar Issue

My blavatar that I changed last night still is the same as it was before on my dashboard, but when I go to my wordpress site it is the one I changed it too. Is it a glitch or is the lag between changes really this much? It has been quite a few hours.

It’s me experience that this change is never instant. It frequently takes days for a new blavatar to appear.

Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

Its only changed on some things and others it hasn’t x-x I just fixed it, somehow a – got between of the first name and last name in the url. It should be working for you right now. I’ll wait 1 more day (If it takes 3 days to change on a professional site I won’t be too happy). Today is the second day I’ve waited, just got my internet back from a fail at my ICP.
If you were trying to look at the blavatar, its the Ouroboros symbol from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, the old blavatar was of the Japanese moon kanji.

The blavatar has changed for me. I can see the Ouroboros symbol in my browser bar next to the site URL which is exactly where it is supposed to appear. I’m not clear on what you mean by “Its only changed on some things and others it hasn’t ” so could you please expand on that?

On my dashboard it is still the old icon, under my name on the tab on the right side of the top bar its the same. It only changed on the actual site basically and where it lets you upload a new blavatar. Everywhere else it is the old one

Did you change your gravatar as well as your blavatar? If not then visit Your Public Profile and click on the link to Change your Gravatar. http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/gravatars/

The Gravatar is changed to a picture of me, while the blavatar is supposed to be the Ouroboros symbol, but is still staying as the Moon Kanji I originally used. It has yet to update on the upper right drop down window or when I look at it on my dashboard, but is updated just fine when I go to the site. It should have changed fully by now but hasn’t.

I think I found the issue, I use Google Chrome because of its speed and sleekness but it has issues with coding at times. I went to firefox to see if that would shock the system so to speak and it did. My Blavatar is now the same everywhere. I don’t know why it does it but it must be a Chrome issue because once I went to Firefox it changed perfectly and registered over here on Chrome as well.
