Blavatar missing from IE address bar, tabs

Sometime this afternoon my blavatar disappeared from the address bar and tab for my blog.
It still appears in Firefox, but not in IE7 or Maxthon. IE shows their logo, and Maxthon shows something else entirely, which I don’t recognize.
Is this a known issue, or should I contact support? I’ve used the same blavatar for over a year with no problem.

OK. The image showing in the address bar and tabs is the Gravatar logo.
The proper image (my avatar, shown here) also is showing on my Gravatar page.
A glitch in their system, perhaps?

Gravatar and avatar are the same thing now. Blavatar is the blog avatar, or blog gravatar, or favicon (just to really confuse you) and that is typically what will show in the browser address bar and tabs.
In the wordpress grey admin bar, your avatar/gravatar will show.

Apparently you have the same image for your blavatar as you do for your avatar/gravatar, correct?
If they disappear on you, it is usually a caching issue with your browser. Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser (unless using IE, then it is best to restart your computer).

Yes, I’m using the same image for everything.
I already had cleared my cache and restarted. This time, I signed out and then went through the process again.
The Gravatar logo is still showing for me, signed in or signed out.
Two simultaneous changes to my blog included losing the “edit” button in the admin bar and having my “share buttons” disappear on my blog page. Those are still missing as well.

I’ll tag this thread for staff attention. They are out but they are monitoring the forums so hopefully they will respond soon.
There are a bunch of gremlins running around loose at wordpress right now evidently.

Just an update:
The Edit button’s back on my admin bar, and my share buttons are in place again.
However, the Gravatar logo’s still showing in the address bar and tabs……

I can confirm that your blavatar is working fine; can you please check in another browser aside from IE and tell me what you see?
