Blend background image with menu

  how do I make my background image wider and blend the background image with the menu – removing the black bar and change the font with my name and menu to pink.

  Hi there, your featured image on your main page seems to be working well now and is full width. On the menu area, that takes on the background color set for the main background of your site. Is the color alright as you have it now, or are you wanting something different? I was thinking about a linear gradient from black at the top to transparent at the bottom, but with the way the theme uses the set background color, I’m not able to get that to work. I did sample the blue on the right side and you may want to add this to your custom CSS and see what you think.
