blissful blog widgets/social media

Hi. I am using the blissful blog theme and I have it set up for two columns. In fact when I searched for a theme this was one of my criteria’s, two columns. Blissful blog came up as a choice and I am using it, but I don’t see two columns and I tried to set up my facebook and pinterest widgets in the sidebar, but nothing is showing up. Only stuff at the bottom, but not my widgets, just the standard ones. I am a brand new blogger so I am kind of confused.
Is there something I am doing incorrectly? Thank you in advance for any help.

Widgets
Blissful Blog offers a sidebar template on single page, archive, and search views, and three footer widget areas on any page. You can assign widgets to each of these areas by going to Appearance -> Widgets. -

If you choose to have a Full-Width Page Template there is no sidebar.
If I put that I want two columns in the search for a template, then ‘blissful blog’ should not show up, correct? But it did.
And what does this mean? It sounds like Blissful Blog does have a sidebar.
