Blissful theme background color question

  I am very new to blogging and have just activated the Blissful theme and have been attempting to change the background but am having no such luck. I have gone under “Appearance” and to the “Background” tab and changed the color only to have it not show up when I refresh the site.

  Can anyone offer me any advice on how to do this? I trying to change it to #fee6e6

  What’s the URL of your site? I don’t recognize the theme name “Blissful” as one of our themes on WordPress.com.
