Add topic to favorites
My header is gone! I tried uploading it again and everything. I even tried OTHER headers. If you go to my site (www.flirtingwithdisastermovie.com) it just says “Flirting with Disaster” with the default blue background. Huh?

Mine has just done the exact same thing. I also use Blix. Perhaps a problem with the theme itself? Hopefully someone will be able to help us sooner or later! :)

Other bloggers are reporting trouble with disappearing headers. There are at least two other forum threads going on this now. Staff have been working on this problem. Please send feedback into staff so they know you have problems on your blogs too.

My header image vanished earlier today, and as of 2:14 PM PST there is no image showing.

I am assuming that it is a wordpress.com problem and will sort itself out soon… so until I am informed that there is some action I should take, I think that attempting to re-post the image could actually make my situation worse.

Standing by… Robert

EDIT: It is 2:31 PM PST, and the problem seems to be fixed at my site.

There is nothing you can do. Your’s is not an isolated problem. There are 5 forum threads going on this topic now. And the reason the coming and going is happening is because our beloved geeks in the backroom are frantically working to fix it. It’s a problem with the software that the team are working on and as TT says above:

I have the same problem. http://www.plentyofwords.com Header shows up in Safari, not Firefox. Have not tried Explorer. I went in and added the #header bla bla !important in the custom css to no avail. I run another blog with an older version of WP and K2 and it works fine. Any suggestions?

@spinchick you are self-hosted using wordpress.org software, you need to inquire over at http://wordpress.org/support/ as I mentioned in the other thread you posted in.
