Does this help?
On grid-layout themes like Blocco, the default homepage automatically displays image links to your latest posts, and you can’t change that. If you want a grid of images that link elsewhere, you’ll have to create a static page, set the blog front to display that page, and create the grid manually using coding in the so-called Text editor. Possible on any theme. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blocco-image-takes-to-link-instead-of-post?replies=7#post-1485355

This may sound odd but I see only titles on your front page right now http://maloo.wordpress.com/ I do not see any images there.

Setting a featured image for each post will make it so an image appears for the post in the blocks on the Blocco theme home page.
