Block a bot

  A bot has been spamming my page with likes. Is there anyway to stop this. My notifications are overwhelmed.

  Site: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  What is the username of the account Liking the posts excessively?

  I deactivated (not sure if that’s the right word) the like button on the site as it was becoming too much to keep up with, especially as it was clearly spam and nothing else I’d tried seem to work. Obviously I’d like my like button to be on. So any help with a permanent solution is welcomed. The name of the spamming account is noble4. When I click on their name it takes me back to wordpress.com

  There doesn’t seem to be a WordPress.com account with that username. If you reactivate the likes option on your site and the likes from that account still show up, please share the link to a post where we can see it. That way, we’ll be able to locate the exact account and take action if necessary.
