Block a country

  Hi there,

  I’d like to control which user can access my blog. To be more specific, I wanna block one country by GeoIP.
  I know it’s possible but I have only the free plan where I can’t upload any plugin and no one which I could activate is the right one. How can I receive my goal?

  Do I have to change my plan? Which would be the right one? How much would it cost?

  I’ve been using WordPress for many years, and to the best of my knowledge, that’s not possible. You can however set it so that only people you wish can visit your blog, but that will affect all countries.

  Hi there,

  I can confirm this is not possible on WordPress.com. If your site is set to public, anyone with an internet connection will be able to access it.
