Ads are attaching themselves to words or phrases in our blogs in WordPress. How do I stop this?
I have a Mac, OS X 10.6.8.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m not seeing any of those on peaceologist.wordpress.com. I suspect that you have some spyware or adware in your browser.

To off-set the costs of providing free hosting to millions of bloggers, WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then provided you see this small About These Ads link what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/
Ads are attaching themselves to words or phrases in our blogs in WordPress.
Any other ads appearing to you like those are not placed by WordPress.com. You have an issue on your browser or computer. They are being placed there by software on your own computer, unfortunately. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.

You are right because it’s in Firefox only. But, if the Firewall is on and I’ve blocked everything in Security.
I’ve had a problem with popup ads too but that seems to have stopped.
How do you control these invaders?Appreciate your help

You have malware on your browser. Disable ALL browser add-ons and then re-add them one by one to see which one does this. Then remove it permanently.
