  I am writing a new post, but everything has changed and I am totally lost. How do I go back to the way it was before

  Hi there,

  The WordPress.com classic editor in My Sites is being retired, and replaced with the block editor that has been the default in the open source version of WordPress since late 2018. We sent you an email about this on Wednesday, subject line, The new WordPress editor

  If you prefer the feel of the classic editor, you can use the classic block:

  Classic Block

  But the block editor is now the default editor on WordPress.com, and it’s not possible to disable it on your site.
