Block editor bug

    Hi

    I’ve been happily blogging away since the Guttenberg editor was introduced, but in the past 2 months I’ve been having a buggy issue with blocks.

    If I add a new block, the + sign doesn’t appear on the right hand side of where I place the cursor like it used to. It either appears below the cursor along a thick blue line, or it appears somewhere randomly below where I’ve placed the cursor.

    I can click the + sign, but then any new text I type appears where the + sign was. So once I’ve typed the text I then have to use the up arrow keys to move the block to where I originally wanted to place it.

    I have screenshots so can upload if you tell me how. Any help appreciated as I blog a lot and it’s driving me crazy.
