Block Editor Issues

Hi!
This has nothing to do with my website exactly but with block editor for editing posts. I don’t know if something changed with the editor but now I can’t change the size/line height of all paragraph blocks simultaneously when I could before. Now all I get is the option to change colour or drop cap.
Is there a glitch happening or is there a new method to changing size/line-height of all paragraph blocks in one go?
My website is a writing blog so there’s a lot of words. I can’t be going to each individual paragraph block to change the size/line height/orientation.

Have you been selecting all and changing the line height for all paragraphs in each post, every time? I don’t currently see that option on my own site, so I don’t think it’s a glitch. I didn’t realize it was an option before either, though.
I haven’t confirmed yet, but I am guessing that will be moving to the Styles area so it can affect the whole site. Have you seen this?

I did notice, for what it’s worth, that you can select multiple paragraphs, group them, and then set the typography for the group.

Yes, before I had the option to change size/line height for all selected paragraph blocks in each post. Sadly, now I had to do them block by block, which is time consuming.
I had a read at the article, thank you very much! I will keep an eye out for the changes. I just hope they bring back the option somehow.
And I also tried the solution. I selected a couple paragraphs and grouped them but I still don’t get the option for typography. I still only get colour and drop cap.

Hi there,
I checked on a self-hosted WordPress site, and the option is missing there too, so if this changed that’s coming from WordPress.org’s end. Formatting multiple paragraphs at the same time has been glitchy in general, so it makes sense to me that they could have removed it in favour of the global styles that will be introduced in WordPress 5.9.
I’ve confirmed the Typography option is definitely there in the coming site editor, so that will allow you to change the line height for your site across the board.
And I also tried the solution. I selected a couple paragraphs and grouped them but I still don’t get the option for typography. I still only get colour and drop cap.
You need to click inside a paragraph so the paragraph block is once again selected, instead of the group block. But I see it then still changes the line height only for that one paragraph, not all the paragraphs in the group, so this doesn’t actually solve the issue.

In that case, I will keep an eye out for the updated site editor. Until then I found an acceptable solution, which is to put all text in only one paragraph block.
