Block Editor – ‘pending review’ option not visible

As per the title, when editing in block editor, the pending review option isn’t visible, whereas it is there using classic editor.
I write for a tech blog and it’s available for other users of that site and we have checked the settings, but there doesn’t seem to be an obvious tick box or option to enable or disable ‘pending review’.

But it’s not one particular post, it’s any new post I start. As you can see from the attached, pending review isn’t an option.
I’ve tried this on several machines and browsers.

Thanks for the details, I’m afraid that, the site you mentioned is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
