Block editor questions
-
Hi,
How do I create a text link )or any link that shows anything else than just the URL it le ads to) using the block editor? When I select text and pr ess ctrl+K, it converts the text to a link but there’s no way of knowing what the link leads to. When I click the “link” thingy in the formatting panel of the block, it only has a URL field and an “open in new tab” checkbox, not a link text field. Is this a bug or is there something I’m missing?

Hi Astrid,
I’m not sure what you mean. You would highlight the text you want to link somewhere and then add the URL using the link button. The text will be the part of your post or page that you highlighted:
I hope that helps :)
Also, remember that with your plan you can access support directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact. That way you can get help faster.
