Block Editor – still not able to save

    I have raised this problem a few times before, and I don’t believe it is fixed yet.

    Normally I use the classic editor, so it is not a big problem, but I tried the new block editor again today as a result of a suggestion on another issue I raised, and it would seem the saving problem is still there.

    Here’s what I do:-

    1. Create New Block post
    2. Give it a title
    3. Chose a paragraph block and put some text in it
    4. Press “Save draft”

    At this point it says: “Updating failed. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post”

    Can this get fixed sometime please? I don’t really want to use the block editor, but I also don’t want to get left high and dry if you decide to turn off the classic editor that I love, and then I won’t be able to do anything with my blog.

    Clearing your browser’s cache is a known fix for this type of error.
