Block Followers

    I have the same person that was discussed in the forum following my blog. In this post, a member is pleading the support team to remove one person from his/her followers list. I want to do the same, however it seems like it is impossible to do so, according to the comments made by WordPress.

    At least it is becoming more clear that this person named doncharisma.wordpress.com is an abusive follower. Can you remove him from my followers list, please?

    A wordpress.com blog is by default a public blog, which means that anyone with a computer and the ability to connect to yourblog.wordpress.com/feed is able to “follow” your blog, anonymously via RSS or just look at it in their browser. That is the nature of a blog, it’s public and meant to be that way.

    You could change it to a private blog if you don’t want other people looking at it, but for most people this would defeat the object of having a blog in the first place.

    I am none of the things that Ernest Dubious says, and have never abusively stalked or been a persistent annoyance, untirely untrue. More it seems he’s a troll trying to stir trouble, and try to cause my reputation to suffer, which he hasn’t been successful at. More the opposite really.

    I’m far too busy enjoying myself blogging to be causing annoyance for others, it’s just such a ridiculous suggestion I can hardly believe it.

    I have worked very hard to produce positive, interesting content on my blog, which has been viewed and liked by thousands of people. A WordPress blogger said this about my blog yesterday – “Smart, inventive, bold, timely, compassionate, and very helpful.”. Another said – “I would describe it as a blog that has something for everyone. Very innovative. The blog has style! “
