Block formatting in post emails

I have recently started having problems with the block formatting for my blog post emails. In both the email test for individual posts, and for the email previews, the bottom block is absent and the penultimate block, which in the last couple of posts has been a “Quote”, is incorrectly formatted. Instead of the paragraph being narrower than a standard “Paragraph” block, it is the same width. In the post previews for the website, these problems do not occur, it is only the email previews.

I appreciate any help with this.

The discrepancy you are seeing between your website previews and your email previews is likely due to the way email clients (like Gmail or Outlook) interpret the CSS and HTML structure of the WordPress Block Editor, which is often much more limited than a standard web browser. When a “Quote” block loses its narrow formatting or the final block disappears entirely, it usually indicates that the email generator is struggling to process the nested styling of those specific blocks or that there is a “broken” HTML tag at the end of your post that is cutting off the email content. To fix this, try wrapping your final blocks in a Group Block to provide a more stable container for the email renderer, or switch to the Pullquote block which sometimes translates better to email layouts. Additionally, ensure there are no empty blocks at the very end of your post, as some email parsers will stop rendering content if they encounter an unexpected or “unclosed” layout element near the footer.
