  Did wordpress change the blockquote format? It no longer shows up visually on my blog. I used to get the actual big visual quote marks and it was set off in a slightly different color. In fact, it looks like any background shading I had is gone, too.

  The way blockquotes are styled varies from theme to theme.

  The bqs on your front page are enclosed in a light blue bg, with a huge white quotation mark top left. If you’re not seeing them that way, then perhaps you changed some color preference in your browser.
