Blocked for malware
-
A reader just told me that he was getting blocked from my blog because of detected malware. I’m not sure how to track it down & get rid of it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can they give you a link if the block is reporting one, or any more information? And what program is reporting the malware? My system didn’t whine and I see no warnings on the google search for your site.

His company uses Trend. Here’s the message:
“Client/Server Security Agent

The only thing I see in that that might trip security software would be the link to the vid at 8tracks.com. The only other link in there is to youtube and that shouldn’t trip things up.
This has been tagged for staff attention and perhaps they will be able to check things for you.
You might try temporarily removing the links/video at 8tracks and have them try again.

Yeah, there is definitely nothing wrong on this end. Maybe it’s the 8tracks items.
Trend Micro has an unfortunate history of blocking WordPress.com sites for malware, and despite us contacting them several times and their admission of their fault, they keep doing it.
If removing the 8tracks items does not help, please ask the reader to update the virus definitions.
If that doesn’t help, please let us know.
