blocked from uploading images

My computer was in the shop for a few days earlier this week. I posted a new entry on my blog on BigSoccer.com, which uses WordPress, last night. In the past, I have used images from my computer, and inserted them in blog posts using the flash uploader. When I tried to insert an image last night, it went part of the way through the process, getting to the point where it says “crunching” with a percentage rising to 100%. At that point, the process stopped and a message saying “HTTP error” in red letters appeared. I have no idea how to fix the problem, partly because I have no idea what the problem is. I’m guessing that the problem is in my computer rather than in WordPress, but I don’t know.
I went ahead and posted the new blog entry without a picture, but the website where my blog is published wants pictures and I doubt that they’ll allow me to do that much longer.
