Blocked invite emails

  I think one of the problems is that the signup process is not entirely clear. When you send an invitation by email to someone who does not already use wordpress they click through from the invite and set up a blog… that does not mean they are now connected to your blog. They need to go back to the original invitation and click on the accept invitation link…

  In the end the only way I could get my users on the blog was by setting up dummy gmail accounts, dummy wordpress users, then getting them on the blog. It’s not ideal because they won’t get their comments, but it works…

  I tried going back to that original invite email and clicking “unsubscribe if you’d prefer not to receive invitation emails in future” – that didn’t work – it won’t even load a page, and it won’t allow you to copy the url.
