Blocked Invites

A peer is trying to add me as an author on their blog but it keeps coming up “user blocked invites” for them. I haven’t blocked anything and can’t find anywhere in my settings to change this.

Hi there, this message usually results from the recipient of the invite has blocked emails from WordPress.com at some point in the past. If you are willing to share the email address of the person you are trying to invite we are happy to investigate.
Please note that our forums software will hide emails from public view, so you can safely add them. For example, I’ve entered an email address below so you can see how it is obscured:
(email visible only to moderators and staff)

Sorry if unclear. It is my email address that is failing to work for someone else. Someone is trying to add my email (email visible only to moderators and staff) to their blog but it’s been blocked (though I don’t recall blocking anything)

Got it, which site are you hoping to be invited to? Is the admin able to post here? We could try adding you from our side to see what’s going on, but we’d need their direct permission.

Also, we’ve just tried jostling something on your account to see if that’ll help, if they want to just try again first.
