I have a link to a PDF on my site (CatnipBlog.com) and sometimes it works and sometimes it gets a ‘blocked plug in’ notice. What is happening and how can I correct this so people who go there are able to see the PDF : Here is link :

@meowiesite the blocked plugin error is likely coming from your browser. Can you confirm what browser you’re using, and whether there’s any rhyme or reason as to when it’ blocking the PDF and when it’s not?

I am using Safari, and so far I can’t figure out why it is sometimes blocked and sometimes not.

Open Safari Preferences, and go to Privacy. Please check if it makes any difference if you uncheck the “Prevent cross-site tracking” option.
With the recent update to Safari 12 they’ve introduced that option, and it now prevents us from detecting if you’re logged into your WordPress.com account when you visit a site on a custom domain like that. But as the file link itself is at the WordPress.com address rather than the custom domain, I’m guessing that’s confusing Safari a bit.
We’re working on ways to compensate for this on our end, but for now disabling that setting will hopefully allow you to access the file.
